When commit fails, the corresponding service (ipsec/vrrp) fails as well

When configuring the vyos routers we have a problem when a commit fails the complete vrrp module/service crashes.
Same happened with the IPsec module/service when we experienced a commit failed on a new esp group.
Commiting seems to force the committed text into the daemons .conf file and restart the daemon. The deamon doesn't like/take the .conf file and the service stops.

Is there anything we can do to resolve this. Is this a known bug or normal behaviour?

Kind regards,
