GRUB Boot Options when installing VyOS 1.2.x
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG

When booting VyOS 1.2.x development ISO there are non functioning boot targets in the GRUB configuration. This was very confusing to me when switching to VyOS 1.2.x

Those are:

  • Install (nothing happens)
  • Graphical Install (nothing happens)
  • Advanced option
    • HDT (file not found error)
    • memtest86+ (nothing happens)

My suggestion is to remove all nun functioning targets. One could say that memtest and HDT would be nice but a user could easily boot a Debian installation CD, too.

but it's never happened as it's not criticl

@syncer, I integrated your referenced splash.png

Awesome :) So It seems that we waited for @c-po all that time to do that :)

syncer moved this task from Need Triage to In Progress on the VyOS 1.2 Crux board.

@UnicronNL please merge when you have time

syncer triaged this task as Normal priority.
syncer edited projects, added VyOS 1.2 Crux (VyOS 1.2.0-rc1); removed VyOS 1.2 Crux.
