I would like to have support for 6rd (radvd packages in Debian), so I don't have to configure it manually via for example the dhclient configs.

Looks to me that you are mixing up two things. 6rd (Radpid Deployment) is used for ISPs to connect the customers to the IPv6 world (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6_rapid_deployment).

Radvd (Router Advertisement Daemon) is a software used for IPv6 address assignment in your local networks (you can compare it to super stupid IPv4 DHCP).

Please don't mix up Radvd, DHCPv6 and IPv6 Rapid Deployment. What is the exact package that you are interested in?

Ok, sorry about that.

The package I do use in Debian is Radvd, I did follow this guide https://sintonen.fi/debian-6rd/ and got it working on my old firewall.
