In preparation to T560 and T561 we should rewreite the DNS forwarding configuration to the new XML based scheme. I'm at a good point (https://github.com/c-po/vyos-1x/tree/service-dns-refactoring) were everything except the OP mode commands are working.
@dmbaturin told me he can write up an example for a basic op-command.

Command service dns forwarding query-all-servers was not available in VyOS 1.1.9 and added in 1.2.x. As this command is no longer available when switching to pdns-recursor (T560) it is not ported and dropped again.
