I'd like to know what the long term plan is here. How are "small time" developer supposed to be able to build the kernel related packages? I was in the middle of testing some change to wireguard, but now everything is on hold because I can't build the current kernel anymore without a significant effort. I'm open to help but I would need to know what the plan is for builds without Jenkins.

The system where I'm seeing this is a VM which use a BNX2 dual port network card via PCI pass-thru. Both ports (eth0 and eth1) are configured in a LACP bond (bond0) with several VIF running on top of it (bond0.10, bond0.20, etc). All VIF are showing this problem.

SNMP can be used as a workaround, but it is not suitable for much more than a couple metrics because is it very inefficient. Moreover the prometheus node exporter provide many more metrics out of the box.
