Hello,
I cannot get snmp to work on VyOS 1.1.7. I only use VyOS for a BGP edge, everything else is not configured on the box.
Here are the specs of my VyOS Box:
Dual E5645
48GB of ram
1x 250gb SSD
8x Intel Corporation 82599EB 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+
4x Intel Corporation 82576 1-Gigabit SFP
2x Intel Corporation 82574L 1-Gigabit Copper
vyos@vyos:/var/log$ dpkg -l | grep snmpd
ii snmpd 5.7.2+vyos1+helium2 SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) agents
When i do a base snmp config by just enabling a ro community the process runs in D state and drives the load of the server from 0 to 1.80-2.00 as soon as you sudo killall -9 snmpd the load instantly drops. Not sure whats going on but could really use some help here.
Thanks!
