Description

Hi - after a short and friendly irc chat, here comes the summary:

  • <dmbaturin>This should make it possible to use any service that uses HTTP requests for updates.
  • Format of query string: https://[USERNAME]:[PW]@[dyndnsserver.dom.tld]/update?hostname=[my-hostname.dom.tld]

I'm on VyOS 1.2.0-beta1.

Thanks a lot.

regards
mikelupe

@MikeLupe Are you using a custom dyndns provider/script? It ifs compatible with the dyndns2 "API" this is already possible using the "custom" dns dynamic service.

If you are using a custom ddns service which has a very special URL please tell us more about it.
