Problem resolved for me.

@dmbaturin :
The keyboard bug is still there in VyOS-1.2.0-epa2! No keyboard possible in hyper-v virtual machine connection (console)

FRR people fixed it rather quickly!
I could reproduce it in today's FRR master. I'm reporting the issue to FRR maintainers.
Thanks, my mistake. Now it works
Yes, seems it's just forgotten sync-group. A sync-group is required for it to work, in the current implementation. The error message is confusing and bug-like though, as of me.

@dmbaturin I believe you forgot to create the Sync-Group. The following configuration is working, and it is really nice to see how this got created during migration from Vyos 1.1.8, and to finally have IPv6 in the VRRP configuration.

Tried rc10 with rufus, same problem works in win32diskimager though.

:-)
it works in rolling, it's just @dmbaturin who messed up RC builds
@syncer is it really finished for you? The bug is still there in my tests
it seems that vyos-kernel was disabled

In 1.2.0-rc10 the keyboard bug is still there as in RC9. No keyboard in hyper-v virtual machine connection. Latest rolling is ok (vyos-1.2.0-rolling+201812050337)

Hi, on the latest VyOS 1.2.0-rc9 the command:
set protocols bgp 65010 parameters default no-ipv4-unicast

I just made a few first tests with VyOS 1.2.0-rolling+201811281529 and VyOS 1.2.0-RC9 (downloaded now) on Hyper-V 2012R2 (Generation 2 VM, SecureBoot off):

I'm putting this on hold until we receive a reproducible procedure for testing this.

This seems to be easy.
sudo chmod 776 /opt/vyatta/etc/config/archive/config.boot
Upgrade from 1.1.7 with a couple of changes in the rollback list to the current 1.2.0-rc9 also shows thi same error:
Couldn't open /opt/vyatta/etc/config/archive/config.boot - Permission denied at /opt/vyatta/share/perl5/Vyatta/ConfigMgmt.pm line 108.

This was resolved by @UnicronNL when the dual-mode ISO was built. As of RC7, the installer now integrates this and can successfully do a UEFI install

@dmbaturin This is what I did:
I couldn't reproduce the issue on my rc6 setup. We'll need exact reproducing steps.

@UnicronNL merge into rolling and crux, please
